The purpose of the EasyShop Account program is two-fold: 1. to offer member/owners quick and easy shopping options and 2. To help the Co-op reduce its credit /debit card service fees. To set up your account please visit the Customer Service counter.

• We strongly encourage opening and maintaining your account using either cash or check
• The account is not a line of credit, it is self- funded by the membership household
• We will not allow a negative balance.
• The balance of your account will be indicated on a separate receipt.
• The account can be recharged at any register after it is established.
• The account is fully refundable, it is your money. Due to low cash reserves kept in the store we request a 24 hour notice if you plan to close the account. Any refund over $100.00 will be processed as a check through our Finance Department (Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm).

Security Steps:

• The most secure way to access the EasyShop account is to have every household member registered to have their own key fob.
• If that is not possible, the person using the account must present some type of ID (Driver’s License/ school ID or Credit/Debit Card) to identify their connection to the membership. Simply telling the cashier the membership ID number will not be sufficient to access the account -- EVEN IF WE KNOW YOU -- this is for your protection.
• It is the responsibility of the head of household to maintain the list of members within the membership account and to notify us of any changes that may be needed.
• Once the account is activated the funds will be available immediately. 
• You must inform the cashier that you would like to use the account. The system will not automatically debit the EasyShop account.
• If the transaction total is larger than your account balance -you will need to recharge the account before the account can be utilized. The system will not allow the transaction to exceed your account balance. (example:  if you have $8.00 left in your account and the transaction is for $9.00, the payment will be denied)
• Product refunds will be handled as cash transactions.
